Our Drone-as-First Responder (DFR) Program is designed to deliver rapid, safe, and responsible airborne support to Suisun City’s first responders. By providing real-time, overhead awareness, DFR helps us improve response times, enhance safety for the public and our officers, and increase our ability to make informed decisions during rapidly evolving incidents. Drones are an important tool in modern public safety. Drones can assist with locating missing people, assessing emergencies as they unfold, and safely guiding resources when seconds matter.
 

Our DFR program is not used to proactively search for violations or monitor residents. Flights are deployed only in response to calls for service or clearly defined public-safety needs. Protecting your privacy is essential, and we are committed to full transparency. All DFR flights are automatically logged through our software system, and those records are available for community review.
